Marine encounter
Navy!
I met this young 85 year old at the lawn mower repair shop. He as I was shopping for repair parts. I hope to be doing the same when I am 85. He too is a Golden Shellback of the sea. For you pollywogs that is we Navy Marines corssed the equator on ship at the date line.
WW2 Marine
Jack was with 3rd Battalion 3rd Marine Division. He served on Guadalcanal, Bouganville, and Guam! Three major campaigns earned the Purple Heart survived these horific battles and carried the losses of his fellow Marines with him always. Very proud Marine who lived until age 97 and everyone of those days as a Marine after earning the Eagle Globe and Anchor. Marines die by the Marine Corps lives forever through Marines who follow in the steps of great men like Jack. Semper Fi my brother. Keep Heaven secure until I get there, for we shall meet when I check in at the gate. I had the pleasure of meeting Jack a few years back and only recently met his daughter Kristen and her husband at their garage sale! It was no accident that the Capatain met Kristen which provided me this opportunity to share another veteran’s service with you all. I would like you all to enjoy this nice article about our brother Jack.

Calling all Willys Jeeps…all Flat Fenders. The Captain is looking for a few good Men and hopefully women who own Willys Jeeps too.

Highway directions from Salt Lake City, I-15 & I-80 Eastbound.
- Go east on I-80 E – 23.5 mi
- Take exit 146 to merge onto US-40 E toward Heber/Vernal – 18.1 mi
- Turn right at S Charleston Rd/US-189 – 436 ft
- Turn left at S Daniels Rd – 0.7 mi
- Turn right at W Airport Rd – 0.4 mi
- Turn left at S Airport Rd – about 0.4 mi
- Turn right toward the Museum hangar
When: August 27, 2022 at 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Show shine trade parts. 1:00 pm convoy departs for Alpine Loop Drive go half way or all the way 1-4 hours great ride stunning photos to include drone photos.
Costs: $20 fundrasing raising donation please, commemorative items to purchase, photos to be take, gifts and give aways, Jeeps awards. Bring parts buy sell trade for a few hours.
I am trying but can’t gaurantee a food vendor will be out there so bring a lunch. I will have drinks.

This venue it the very best. History in the Wing’s museum, open field great view of mountains, cool airplanes. After showing our Jeeps trading parts enjoying lunch then we will DRIVE! For those who like to drive we will head up onto the Alpine loop for some stunning photos all in convoy! Drone footage and lots of fun.

This is the first all Willys Rally in Utah. There will be three more planned when I drive Little Glory across the USA. We Kaiser Willys and Gartforvets are looking at Boise, Idaho June, Chenneye, Wy late June, Ohio, July and Up state NY late July on the drive down to NYC!
Kaiser Willys customers listen up… we need one volunteer from each area to step up…yes we are recruiting to organize these cross country events.

Awesome Day Garage Sale!
You know the rules never pass a garage sale!
On the way to a few garage sales where I spotted an ax in the photos I kept stopping at other garage sales I spotted.
NOW no better way to end a great day then to get a call from this patriot and retired Army soldier Tom. He answered an ad I had on line selling what else but car parts. I am selling all sorts of things to help pay these crazy gas prices to keep my campaign going. Well tom need a set of orginial 1965 VW headlights and buckets. He got them and I had another Veteran encounter!
Tom served us all from from 1988 to 2008. He served with the imfamous 3rd Infantry Divison. Served in Germany, Korea, and Iraq. I am positive we will do some events together because he too is a car guy. look at two of his cars below.
So ended an awesome day….never pass a garage sale!
Gremlins strike again
Made a stop in Malda, Idaho what a patriotic little town. Local American Legion, beautuful memorial to all our veterans who lost their lives in defense of freedom.

July 27th, event at the “wrapping” of Marines Dream gunship Winnebago at the Queen of Wraps our newest sponsor. We will have a short video shoot, little live “Fakebook” and meeting greeting of employees all of whom are now our new partners supporting our veterans and first responders.
July 29th, Rock Springs Rodeo and celebration of life and sacrifice for one of our own Marines who lost his life during the exit from Afghanistan
July 30th, Cottonwood Heights Car Show and Parade.
July 31-August 4th mobile in Little Glory the Jeep fising but meeting and greeting all I encounter. Will be on the Lower Provo River in campground at the top of the river. Will then be below the Strawberry Resivior at the campground and fishing the river that runs through Heber and Midway. Will be about town in Heber as well find me.
August 5th Coleville special event
August 6th Commemorative Air Force Museum Car Show and 40’s Swing Dance later that night.
August 7th-9th Speed Week on the Salt Flats Wendover, Utah

Enemy activity encountered
During shakedown cruise with Little Glory’s new pair of boots, we encluntered a skirmish with an enemy Gremlins. Resluting in a temoprary breakdown.
