Idaho Bound

Finally headed out of town first outside Utah.
One of my favorite stops I always make when headed north to Idaho on the 84 West drive toward Boise
So rustic, so authentic, back in time great American Cafe along the road.
It doesn’t get any better than this, hot chow, hot coffee, new friends and being on the road
Always leave room for Pie and icecream when at Molly’s.
Marines always find one another. Here is Steve he served our beloved Marine Corps from 1953 to 1956 as a Corporal in the Bakery. Everybody loves the Baker you don’t piss off the Baker. What a lucky “MO” military occu, pational skill. His son is also a Marine who worked Nuke security at Naval Weapons station Oackland, California.
You never know who you will meet on the road. It has said the Captain has never met a stranger. Like these cool guys they are truly “Gold Diggers” all geologists who work at the Gold mine ooutside Snowville, Utah. Great people Patriots all of them.
Classic tune
Here we come Idaho
Fantastic driving tunes

Next Stop Paul Idaho for new tires!

Headed to Idaho

HEADED TO IDAHO TODAY SEE YOU AT LES SCHWAB PAUL, IDAHO 19TH AND IDAHO FALLS MUSEUM OF IDAHO 20TH 1:00-5:00 PM

As a means to save costs of this campaign your Motor Transport Officer and mechanic “ME” does all the maintenance. Also to save gas, I will be towing Little Glory up to Idaho for her new tires to be installed. Will also have Little Glory up there to display and do some miles around the areas where I will be deployed. I hope to do a recon of one part of the cross country trail I will be using next year during the national trip. Hope the Explorer does ok, she is a 2000 with 210,000 miles on her. Fresh oil change and new tires we are off towing Little Glory.

Oil change.
210,000 miles on the old girl, first new car I ever purchased. But was not mine but my wife’s. I’m old corps and I don’t like new cars even one now that was built in 2000. But must admit I need the old girl right now for this trip north to Idaho.
Oil changed ready to go. Little Glory sleeps in the background.

Welcome Aboard Queen of Wraps

The Queen of Wraps – Griffco Graphics of Salt Lake City is a huge supporter of our Military, Veterans, First Responders and their families. The Captain has already met active military reservists and veterans who are employed with The Queen. The design team is top notch so if you have a design let them make it even better or give them your ideas and they can make it happen. Quality is key and the Queen is all over the process to ensure their final product is top notch. Here is a sneak peak at what is to come. I look forward to documenting this process and showing off the Gartforvets Motor Home “Marines Dream” or better known as Gunship Winnebago. Stay tuned and I will introduce you to members of the team here at The Queen where we will rock this campaign with this awesome project. Ohra!

This should be classified information but we are so excited we are allowing this sneak peak of “Marines Dream”

One of the Captain’s rules in life.

Never pass a Garage sale. This sale was so much fun because you are out in God’s country aways from the city swamp. Real people, patriots, down to earth genuine certified good people. So check it out. Little Glory now has a sound system. A stereo for that long drive across America. True to the Captain’s core, it old school all the way. I mean what else would you put in a 1952 Willys Jeep? Just LIke when I was 16 years old when I had my first Willys Jeep which was a 1951. I had a 8 track stereo player! So these great folks did a little horse trading and hooked the Captain up! Check it out. With over 100 tapes…all America’s music Country Music that is.

The Garage sale team “Never pass a Garage Sale.” Thank you guys please stay in touch!
Fun stuff, this Garage sale also provided a tow rope for the Jeep, but this Motor T Marine will Never need that!
“NOS” New Old stock never installed. You never know what you will find…don’t pass garage sales rule #237B4 Capatins book.
Treasure trove of American Country Music….I wonder if Johnny Cash’s Ira Hayes song is in here? I will let you know!

Dino Days Rodeo

This is as close as you can get to the people. This is where I live and operate. What I mean is real patriots who love our country and one another for who we are Americans.
