Awesome Day Garage Sale!

So the day began with a mission to find an Ax for Little Glory the Jeep.

You know the rules never pass a garage sale!

On the way to a few garage sales where I spotted an ax in the photos I kept stopping at other garage sales I spotted.

First sale I met these awesome patriots. Melissa and Dan. Now we will hear from them again as they have veterans in their family and you know I always ask for photos to post and honor all veterans. They gave me this Classic photo of Lou Gehrig for the wall in the “Eagle Globe and Anchor” Barn. Hope to see them both at a future event of mine.
Next up a garage sale advertised where I saw an Ax in the photos…problem was it was an old add from last week. But they will look and see if they had sold it or not.
Another unplanned stop and Patriots again. Now let me tell you this…her Grandfather was a WW2 Marine and proud of it. I was saddened to hear he passed away last year at age 97. But we will learn about his service as she will send me his photo to post and honor him for his service.
Another patriot! Now Bubba here was between garage sales when I noticed his patriotic decorations on his home. I pulled over and found he too obviously loves our country. He is in full support of my campaign and I am sure to see him at future events, He too will be sending me photos of his family members who are veterans so that we may honor them on this site under “Veteran Encounters.” Enjoyed meeting him very much. He is friends with the owner of Queen of Wraps who is sponsoring the Wrap on the Gartforvets Winnebago! Small world.
Ok now this is when the garage sales gets good. Meet Rex an Air Force veteran who enlisted in 1962. He donated an Ax for Little Glory the Jeep. I can;t thank him enough I love making this Jeep the People’s Jeep I built it but many will complete it! See the awesome Classic inthe background??? want a closer look? Ok…..
Check out Kroger and his kick ass interior. Alegator skin seats. What do you expect from a Louisianna boy. The cool thing is Kroger was at my car show last week and he recognized the Capatain. Seems he very much enjoyed the car show wirh me lat week. Now that makes me feel great. good so we will be getting togethe
Ok at the garage sale I met Johnathan. I conducted my first DUCKING. It is a Jeep thing that Jeep owners do by leaving little rubber ducks on fellow Jeep owners rides.

This Jeep is a 2021 Freedom Edition Jeep. “Oscar Mike” on the move boys and girls. Look at th tribute inside the door..

Little more modern than Little Glory I bet this tears it up out there on the trail.
Now this is Johnathan’s Dad a true patriot as well. Guess what? Remember a few days ago I got a flat with my new tires on Little Glory? I had no jack to raise the jeep and change the tire. Well he dobated a bottle Jack for Kittle Glory! Fantatstic, the people’s Jeep! Thank you so much. Certified patriot check his tattoos out!
America is Freedom
Fantastic!
Ok now after he garage sales we had to make a stop at Home Depot. Thisis where we met Kirk and his awesome Jeep in the background. We both admired one aothers Jeeps. He loves America and I will see him again at future events.

I could not resist a stop at the Bentley dealer. But trust me I was not considering any kind of trade in just having fun.
These are some mighty fancy cars and what a beautiful building.

NOW no better way to end a great day then to get a call from this patriot and retired Army soldier Tom. He answered an ad I had on line selling what else but car parts. I am selling all sorts of things to help pay these crazy gas prices to keep my campaign going. Well tom need a set of orginial 1965 VW headlights and buckets. He got them and I had another Veteran encounter!

Tom served us all from from 1988 to 2008. He served with the imfamous 3rd Infantry Divison. Served in Germany, Korea, and Iraq. I am positive we will do some events together because he too is a car guy. look at two of his cars below.
